Born and based in Hong Kong, Ho is a full-time artist who specialises in sculpture. His works are often
created from recycled materials such as scrap wood, which has become his main creative medium. Ho is
keen on observing everyday objects in the city, through which he reflects on the relationship between the
environment and his own existence. In response to the fast-paced high-tech city of our time, he focuses
his art practice with a slow and steady carving pace, in an attempt to engrave the speed of human
growth in his works.
Ho’s artistic style spans across different genres and forms, from fine arts to community arts, one can see his
works in art exhibitions and craft fairs alike. As a founder of the art group, Chipgoodguy Studio, he actively
brings arts to the community. He is also passionate about arts education, and is now a guest tutor at
several institutions and art spaces, promoting the craft of woodworking and the creative industries as a
whole.
